Support Softball and Epilepsy Awareness

Come and show your support for our softball team and raise awareness for epilepsy. McCook Community College Phi Theta Kappa Chapter and MCC softball team are sponsoring a “Purple-Out” event on March 19^th to help raise awareness about epilepsy.

Abbee Terry, an 11-year old who attends Central Elementary School and has epilepsy, will throw out the first pitch at the 5 p.m. game against North Platte, the first game of a doubleheader.

Bracelets, hair ribbons and t-shirts will be for sale. Also there will be an auction for a signed softball from both teams. T-shirts will be sold for $12 in Von Riesen Library.

So come on out in your purple clothing and show your support for our lady Indians and help raise awareness on epilepsy!
