Last week was busy with high school students visiting the campus for an FCCLA (Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America)
Conference on Wednesday, November 6th. Just like freshman orientation, students started their morning at the Events Center and then had small groups on the campus.
Thursday,
November7th, motivational speaker, Kevin Sharp was at McCook High School at
7:00 pm. Kevin Sharp is an award-winning vocalist, entertainer, cancer survivor,
and now one of the country’s top speakers. He spoke of his battle with cancer,
his career in music and how the two intertwined.
