Basketball Teams Travel to Colorado

The men’s and women’s basketball teams will be traveling to Colorado for games on Friday and Saturday night. Both will play Otero Junior College on Friday with the ladies will play at 5 p.m. with the guys following at 7p.m. Both teams are looking to avenge losses earlier this season to the Rattlers.

On Saturday the teams will travel to play Trinidad State Junior College. The woman will tip off at 2 p.m. with the men starting at 4 p.m. Both teams were able to win close games against the Trojans earlier this year and we are hoping to get the same result this go around.

New Team Member

Hello everyone, my name is Tyler Wright and I’m a new member to the Webzine team. A little about myself is that I’m currently working on finishing up my Bachelor’s degree in Business through Bellevue University. I live here in McCook and am married and have two boys ages 3 and 3 months. I enjoy golfing, fishing and many other outdoor activities when I can find some free time.

I’m looking forward to learning more about blogging and to be honest this will be my first experience with it. I wish you all a strong finish to the year and hope everyone enjoys their time here.

Welcome to the New Semester!

Hello and welcome to the Spring 2015 semester at MCC.  Last semester was slow for us because nobody was taking the course.  As this is a student led publication, when there are no students, there are no publications. 

This semester we have a new group of students starting on January 12th, so please check back throughout the semester for updating postings on the happenings at McCook Community College!
